Family fun at the Boise Zoo!!
O.k., Ryley who is four, has an animal obsession. This is pretty much all she talks about. All last week she has been saying she wanted to go to the zoo, over and over again. We had never been to the Boise Zoo, thinking it would be tiny and maybe one or two animal. Since we had gone to the Portland Zoo so many times, I thought it might be a little disappointing, but we were pleasantly surprised and had a great time. It may be about a third the size as Portland's, but really how long can a big zoo hold a small child's attention? Since it was the middle of winter, crowds were not a problem, even on a Saturday. We also got a discounted price for the off season and only paid $9.50 for the whole fam. So for us it was worth it. We just put on a coat, took our time and had a great family outing!

Ryan
Ryan was doing poses for me today, he cracks me up. I actually really like him with his shaggy hair and beard. He is relishing it right now, in case he has to shave it off in a few months. I do so much blogging with the Kids and I wanted to do one of Ryan. I guess he is kinda one of the kids, so maybe, I should say I have four kids not three!
Movies.....Ryley&Chaz......and Alligaters
At Chritmas time My very smart and talented sister Jennifer made these very short movies, I helped a little bit. But she just started a blog and just posted these movies on it and they are pretty cute, so if you want to see them link to her blog, just click on Jennifer Hibbert on my friends list and enjoy!

A little piece of heaven
Growing up I probably wouldn't have called La Grande heaven. Now that I'm all grown up and now my parent's live there with my extremely large extended family, in a way it is just that. Now I truly appreciate the fabulous beauty that is there and this Christmas we truly took advantage of all the snow on Fox Hill at my Fathers inheritance and created a sledding heaven complete with lots of family, four wheelers to take us back up to the top of the hill, A new little cabin my dad and his brothers and many others worked hard on this summer, so we could spend more time up in the snow. It was truly amazing and wonderful. These were pictures of just one day up there and doesn't even show all the amazing things and people that were there, but it will have to do and I love sharing all the beauty we got to experience this Christmas.

Chritmas in La Grande
We had a great Christmas this year. Carley had her baby(Dewey Eugene Nerdin) a few day before Christmas so our cousins Luna and Kosmo got to stay at Grandam and Grandpas too.
The kids were having fun playing and dancing around the tree, so I a took a few pics.
Ryley turned into a little poser? She usually never does that.

Some holiday fun.....with one and all.
I decided to make chocolate covered cherries this year and then go from there. Ryley was so exited to help me and she did a great job. (If the pictures above don't move just drag the circle thingy and that might work.) We always see our neighbor's peacocks out and about and wanted to show you something we see all the time, this one ran right in front of us as I was turning the corner, I don't know how I got the picture, but I think it turned out pretty good since I was caught off guard and driving! I probably won't do that again!
